In this full-time role, you will ensure outstanding living experiences for students by managing a team and budgets effectively. Are you an experienced multi-site operations leader with strong people skills and financial acumen? Our client, a leading student accommodation provider, is looking for a Residence Manager to oversee their Barcelona residences and ensure an outstanding living experience for students.

Key languages

  • Spanish – Full professional proficiency
Main responsibilities
  • Lead operations across two residences (approx. 550 beds).
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of up to 16 employees.
  • Oversee budgets, invoicing, payroll, and cost control.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance and manage third-party contractors.
  • Drive strategic planning and ensure smooth operations during peak periods.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Departments (marketing, sales, operations).
Core skills / experience
  • Experience in a multi-site management role (retail, supermarket, or high-volume operations) delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Hands‑on, people‑oriented, and empathetic manager.
  • Financially savvy with cost and budget management.
  • Knowledge of Spanish labour legislation (HSE).
What's on offer
  • Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus based on KPIs.
  • Contract: Permanent, full‑time.
  • Working hours: 7 AM until 4 PM, 9 AM to 6 PM, and 11 AM–8 PM. One weekend in 3–4 weeks!
