Are you driven by delivering excellent customer service while achieving sales targets? We’re looking for a highly motivated Rental Sales Agent to join our Network & Stations team within the broader Operations function. As a Rental Sales Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless rental experience and maximizing sales opportunities. This entry-level, counter sales role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about both service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle reservations and process rental agreements with accuracy and professionalism
• Ensure every customer is welcomed and treated with respect, providing an exceptional level of service from start to finish
• Maximize sales opportunities by consistently offering optional coverage products, vehicle upgrades, prepaid gas options, and additional services to every customer, ensuring 100% compliance
• Utilize effective sales techniques by building rapport through open-ended questions, emphasizing product features and benefits, and skillfully overcoming customer objections
• Adhere to all rental policies and procedures to ensure smooth and compliant transactions
• Assist customers by identifying any additional services or products that may enhance their rental experience
• Provide unmatched service excellence, ensuring full customer satisfaction at every stage of the rental process
• Support branch operations by performing additional duties as requested by management

What We’re Looking For:

• Sales Background: Proven sales experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Product Expertise: Skilled in offering optional coverage products, vehicle upgrades, and additional services
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally
• A sales-driven attitude with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing accurate and timely service

Ideal Experience

• Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales role, ideally in retail, hospitality, or automotive sectors
• Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets
• Experience handling transactions and working with point-of-sale systems
• Familiarity with rental agreements or similar customer service documentation is a plus

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in 1898, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: "If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?". His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need. In 1951, l’Abonnement Automobile was the first company for car rental without a driver and its fleet counted 750 4 CV. Now, the Europcar Mobility Group has over 200,000 vehicles on average in its fleet and serves 5 million customers in more than 140 countries. But the vision our Group was founded upon remains the same, while being more relevant and promising than ever, as we are entering the usage and sharing economy era !
