The ideal applicant will coordinate multi-team efforts and uphold quality control standards while supporting diverse hardware platforms.

Formación

• Significant programming experience in C.
• Substantial experience with operating system kernel internals.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of software engineers.
• Ability to coordinate between multiple teams.
• Familiarity with version control practices.
• Prior experience with software packaging formats.

Responsabilidades

• Leading a distributed team of software engineers.
• Taking ownership of aspects of Ubuntu Linux.
• Working with silicon or cloud partners.
• Ensuring Ubuntu runs on diverse hardware.
• Definition and execution of quality control standards.
• Mitigating security threats to the Linux kernel.
