Job summary

Partner Company in Spain is seeking a Senior 3D Character Artist to create stylized, production-ready characters for real-time games, with strong Unity3D integration. You will transform concepts into expressive assets and collaborate with artists, animators, and technical staff across the production pipeline.

The role offers fully remote, long-term collaboration, with international team exposure and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Character Artist in game development.
Experience contributing to commercially released games.
Exceptional portfolio showing stylized 3D characters with strong fundamentals.
Excellent understanding of anatomy, stylized proportions, color, and character appeal.
Proficiency in 3D modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, texturing, and materials.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality stylized 3D characters with distinctive silhouettes and memorable personalities.
Model, sculpt, UV map, texture, and refine characters from blockout to delivery.
Translate 2D concepts into compelling 3D assets while preserving intent and identity.
Develop stylized materials, textures, and surface details to match visual style.
Prepare assets for real-time engines and ensure performance targets.
Collaborate with rigging and animation teams for proper topology and deformation.
Integrate assets into Unity3D and review visual quality and implementation.
