Jobgether in Spain is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Node & React) to own backend and frontend APIs in a headless, API-driven platform. You will influence architecture, drive integrations, and deliver production-ready features within a small, remote-first team.

You will write high-quality code, design scalable systems, mentor teammates, and collaborate with business leadership to translate product strategy into technical execution, while prioritizing reliability and performance.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in software design and architecture, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable application development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Firebase, and API development.
• Strong understanding of headless, API-driven architectures and production-grade software systems.
• Experience building scalable and fault-tolerant applications with a strong focus on reliability and performance.
• Solid knowledge of software quality practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and maintainable development processes.
• Interest in emerging AI development platforms and coding tools, with enthusiasm for exploring how they can enhance software products and engineering workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to engineering, with the judgment to balance speed, quality, technical debt, and business priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a distributed and asynchronous working environment.

Responsabilidades

• Write production-quality code daily, leading by example and maintaining high standards across development practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs.
• Own critical areas of the technical landscape and contribute to the continued evolution of the platform architecture.
• Lead the development and launch of new product capabilities, including major third-party integrations.
• Drive the implementation of an Instagram Ads integration as part of the core product.
• Explore and integrate emerging AI development and coding platforms to expand product capabilities.
• Continuously improve the core platform while protecting its high availability, stability, and developer-first experience.
• Collaborate closely with business leadership and the CEO to translate product strategy into practical technical execution.
• Make pragmatic, risk-aware engineering decisions that balance innovation, delivery speed, maintainability, and uptime.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues in collaboration with the wider engineering team.
• Contribute to software quality practices, including testing, CI/CD, documentation, and reliable release processes.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural input within a small, senior engineering environment.
