Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field (internships or volunteer experience valued).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Interest in the South African media landscape.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns and strategies.
• Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
