Job summary

Maisa is seeking an Operations Manager in its Finance & Operations team to own core processes from onboarding to vendor management and IT access provisioning. You will redesign and automate workflows, driving efficiency and scalability while collaborating with Finance, People and other teams.

You’ll focus on identifying bottlenecks, delivering automation projects, and building scalable operating models, with a learning curve as processes mature and expand across Maisa’s hubs in Spain.

Qualifications

• Experience owning at least one recurring operational process end to end.
• Strong ownership and initiative; identify improvements without being told.
• Hands-on attitude and ability to work into operational details.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience improving, redesigning or documenting operational processes.
• Confidence with technology and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, especially with recurring processes.
• Genuine curiosity about AI, automation and reducing repetitive work.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Based in Spain, ideally Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding operations.
• Manage Accounts Payable, vendor onboarding, expenses and corporate card administration.
• Coordinate access provisioning and removal across internal systems.
• Maintain clear, scalable operational processes and documentation.
• Work with Finance, People and other teams to resolve issues and keep processes moving.
• Identify manual, repetitive workflows and simplify or eliminate them.
• Build and own a roadmap for operational improvements and automation.
• Redesign workflows using automation, AI, no-code/low-code tools where appropriate.
• Measure impact with turnaround time, reliability and reduced manual work.
• Continuously seek opportunities to simplify and scale Maisa's internal operations.
