Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Murex MxML Back Office Developer to join our team in Spain. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining MxML-based interfaces inside a Mx.3 environment, handling back office workflows for settlements, accounting and regulatory reporting.

You will design MxML messages, mappings, and transformations, support SWIFT integration (MT messages), work with Business Analysts, and contribute to upgrades, regression testing and production support.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Murex Mx.3 and MxML in back office modules.
• Designing and developing MxML messages, mappings and transformations.
• Strong XML tech knowledge: XSLT, XPath, XSD.
• Experience configuring BO workflows including settlements, netting, and accounting.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and mapping to MT/MX formats.
• Understanding capital markets products.
• Strong SQL for data investigation.
• Production support experience with SLA-driven incidents.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain MxML interfaces for back office processes.
• Build and map MxML messages between Murex and external systems.
• Configure and enhance BO workflows and settlement processes.
• Develop MxML transformations for message processing.
• Support SWIFT messaging integration.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with BAs and BO teams to gather requirements.
• Assist upgrades and regression testing.
• Optimize MxML performance and error handling.
• Create technical documentation.
• Participate in SIT, UAT and deployments.
• Provide L2/L3 production support.
