Jobgether is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (MS SQL) based in Spain for a temporary remote role. You will manage high-volume SQL Server environments, tackle performance, reliability, and scalability challenges, and work on advanced T-SQL development with SQL Server architecture expertise.

You will investigate execution plans, optimize queries, and address bottlenecks across memory, disk, locking, and system performance, while maintaining high-availability and enabling data access

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008-2019.
• Advanced T-SQL scripting including stored procedures, UDFs, triggers, and distributed transactions.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
• Ability to analyze execution plans and optimize complex queries.

Responsabilidades

• Develop advanced T-SQL scripts for SQL Server environments (2008-2019).
• Review code, analyze execution plans, and resolve performance issues at scale.
• Optimize queries, procedures, indexes, and memory/disk utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks and perform remote troubleshooting for production issues.
• Support AlwaysOn availability groups and ensure data access for analysts and ML engineers.
• Perform routine DB administration tasks, backups, security policies, and data integrity checks.
