Hitachi Energy is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead a global team of ~10 professionals, driving supplier quality, qualification processes, and cost-efficient performance across the supply base.

This remote Europe-based role collaborates with R&D, Engineering, PM, and SCM to ensure APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC are rigorously applied while maintaining compliance and supporting sustainability goals.

Formación

• 7+ years in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or Operations with leadership experience.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 or similar).
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficient in APQP/PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience mentoring SQEs across time zones and cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of about 10 QA professionals globally.
• Develop supplier qualification process and training materials.
• Provide quarterly quality and compliance updates to SCM leadership.
• Ensure adherence to corporate quality processes across the organization.
• Define KPIs with global SCM and report performance.
• Coordinate with R&D, Engineering, PM, and SCM to support APQP/PPAP activities.
• Oversee timely resolution of supplier NCs and drive improvements.
• Lead site inspections for risk-based supplier evaluations.
• Foster collaboration with internal engineering and category management.
• Manage accessibility and compliance with Hitachi Energy policies.
