Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Frontend Desktop Engineer in Spain to build cross-platform desktop apps with React and TypeScript. You will contribute to a decentralized platform enabling private collaboration, working with a globally distributed team to deliver high-quality, open-source focused software.

You will implement UI, manage state with Redux/Redux Toolkit/Zustand, and focus on performance, testing, and reliability while collaborating across time zones.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-scale apps.
• Strong understanding of frontend state management libraries (Redux/Redux Toolkit/Zustand).
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, modular, well-tested code.
• Experience testing, debugging, and troubleshooting complex frontend applications.
• Interest in peer-to-peer technologies, distributed systems, or decentralized apps.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and improve a cross-platform desktop application built with React and a peer-to-peer runtime.
• Implement responsive, intuitive UIs across desktop platforms.
• Build and maintain robust frontend architecture using modern JS/TS practices.
• Manage application state with Redux/Redux Toolkit/Zustand or equivalents.
• Write modular, maintainable, well-tested code for long-term reliability.
• Test, debug, and troubleshoot frontend issues to ensure stability.
• Optimize rendering performance and memory usage for desktop apps.
• Collaborate with a remote, international engineering team on decentralized tools.
• Contribute to peer-to-peer features for messaging, file sharing, and real-time communication.
