A global IT solutions leader specializing in data center management seeks a skilled Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on-demand support. You will install and manage hardware, troubleshoot issues, and monitor operations both remotely and on-site. The role requires 3+ years of experience and a strong understanding of networking systems. Flexible scheduling allows you to choose tasks based on your availability, ensuring a balance with your other commitments.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations, focusing on independent or freelance projects.
• Ability to travel to various data center locations on short notice.
• Valid certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Linux+ are highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and networking equipment.
• Monitor operations to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
• Document all installations and maintenance tasks.

Conocimientos

Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking devices

Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux-based systems

Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs)

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

Educación

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
