Jobgether in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain seeks a Structured Cabling Design Engineer to design end-to-end cabling for data centers and AI infrastructure. You will create fiber and copper networks, design MDFs/IDFs, BOMs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams remotely.

The role covers the full lifecycle from concept to deployment, requires 5+ years in data center cabling, and emphasizes standards (TIA, BICSI, IEEE).

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in structured cabling and data center infrastructure.
• Experience with fiber-optic architectures (single-mode and multimode).
• Knowledge of standards: TIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEC/NFPA, ISO/IEC.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams remotely.
• Strong documentation and as-built records discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Develop end-to-end structured cabling designs for data center projects.
• Design fiber and copper cabling infrastructure for networks, compute, storage, and security.
• Create connectivity architectures for MDFs, IDFs, MMRs, and data halls.
• Produce cabling schematics, rack elevations, and cable schedules.
• Review drawings, vendor submittals, and RFIs; prepare BOMs and forecasts.
• Assist with capacity planning and standards maintenance.
• Support testing, certification, commissioning, and field inspections.
