Lifted, an Upwork Company™, seeks CFD and Aerodynamic Engineers to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems by contributing real-world engineering expertise. You will design compact CFD and aerodynamics tasks, specify boundary conditions, mesh quality and flow regimes, develop scoring checkers, and produce verified reference solutions.

This fully remote, independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling (10–39 hours/week) and compensation ranging from $80–$110 USD per hour, with

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience using OpenFOAM for CFD simulations.
• Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, and heat transfer.

Responsabilidades

• Design CFD and aerodynamics tasks to evaluate AI models.
• Create problem statements covering boundary conditions, mesh quality, flow regimes and setups.
• Develop deterministic scoring checkers to evaluate AI responses.
• Produce verified reference solutions for task solvability.
• Review and refine tasks for clarity and technical accuracy.
• Apply OpenFOAM experience to realistic engineering scenarios.
• Work remotely in a fully asynchronous environment.
