RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Hardware Expert to contribute to an AI training project involving CAD and Python. Work is global, fully remote as a contractor (~15 hours per week) with flexible scheduling.

Tasks include turning technical drawings into precise 3D models, exporting STEP files, and validating geometry to meet strict requirements. Required are strong Python skills, CAD/geometry experience, and rigorous dimensional accuracy.

Formación

• Strong Python programming ability.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry.
• Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision.
• Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings.
• Translate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models.
• Decompose complex components into appropriate geometric features.
• Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations.
• Use Python to generate or automate CAD geometry.
• Export valid, watertight solid models in formats such as STEP.
• Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties.
• Diagnose subtle differences between expected and generated geometry.
• Produce reproducible solutions that work in clean technical environments.
