Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a CAD-focused engineer to train and evaluate AI agents inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts alongside CFD engineers.

The role requires 5+ years of professional CAD modelling across CATIA, SolidWorks, NX or Creo, plus an active CAD licence. Proficiency in Python and GitHub and English at B2 level are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
• Active CAD licence required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents in a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry and build reference solutions.
• Judge the agent's attempts and iterate with CFD engineers.
