AgileEngine, a fast-growing software security company, seeks a Middle Application Security Engineer to join our DevSecOps team in Madrid. You will integrate SAST/DAST/SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines, tune scanners to reduce false positives, and guide Java/Python developers on secure coding practices.

Bring 3–5 years of combined software engineering and AppSec experience, strong Python scripting, and solid knowledge of CI/CD tools in a Fortune 500 context. Flexible remote/office options available.

Formación

• 3–5 years of commercial experience blending software engineering and DevSecOps/AppSec.
• Solid coding proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision on day-to-day execution.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune and configure security scanning tools to reduce false positives.
• Assist in coding and deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide actionable, code-level remediation guidance in Java and Python.
