Alignerr is seeking Creative Writing Evaluators to read and provide feedback on AI-generated prose. This remote, hourly contract role offers flexible hours (10-40 per week) for readers and writers with a strong literary sensibility and excellent English.

No formal credentials required, just a passion for language and a critical eye. You will assess writing across genres, identify weaknesses, and deliver structured feedback to help improve AI storytelling.

Qualifications

• Passion for reading and writing with a refined eye for language.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and voice.
• Ability to critique across diverse genres with tact and clarity.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to meet deadlines independently.
• Experience evaluating writing or AI outputs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres.
• Assess quality, originality, style, tone, coherence, and engagement.
• Identify clichés, awkward phrasing, or inconsistent logic.
• Provide structured, constructive feedback using rubrics.
• Rate AI outputs to guide model learning of compelling writing.
• Work asynchronously on your own schedule.
