Job summary

Vortech is seeking an applied AI Atlassian Engineer to lead the adoption of AI agents for a client, focusing on Atlassian Rovo and a broad tool ecosystem. You will guide agent design, governance, and ROI measurement, while collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure successful deployment.

Responsibilities include defining strategy, evaluating tools, building agents in Rovo Studio or Forge, and ensuring GDPR/EU AI Act compliance as part of a global remote team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Atlassian Rovo (agents, Rovo Studio, search and chat) and Jira/Confluence administration.
• Broad knowledge of generative and agentic AI with hands‑on work across platforms and models.
• Experience with integrations (REST APIs, MCP) and Forge or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Consulting profile: process analysis, use case discovery and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of data governance and EU AI regulatory framework.
• Advanced English (C1), spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Define the agentic AI strategy and identify high‑value processes for automation.
• Compare and recommend agents and tools based on use case, cost and security.
• Design, build and test agents in Rovo Studio and Forge when needed.
• Integrate Rovo with external systems via MCP, APIs and connectors.
• Define ROI metrics and track results over time.
• Set governance, security and responsible AI practices and train users.
