A leading regulation firm in Spain is seeking a Regulatory Manager to ensure compliance with Spanish and EU laws. The successful candidate will advise operational teams, manage compliance with Consumer Law, and coordinate GDPR-related actions. Applicants should have a Degree in Law and 5–7 years of experience in Consumer Law, along with strong communication skills and an interest in data protection. Descripción del empleo

As a Regulatory Manager, you will ensure full compliance with Spanish and EU regulations affecting our business. You will advise operational teams, mitigate legal risks, and anticipate regulatory changes, especially in Consumer Law and Data Protection (GDPR).

Primary Responsibilities
Consumer Regulation
  • Manage compliance matters under Credit Consumer Law and General Consumer Law.
  • Review and update consumer agreements.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and testing.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Drive corrective action plans and guide business teams.
  • Manage consumer claims before Consumer Agencies.
  • Resolve operational queries related to consumer regulation.
Data Protection (GDPR)
  • Coordinate GDPR actions with the external DPO: DPIAs, training, security measures.
  • Support personal data processing compliance across Spain and the EU.
  • Prepare documentation and responses for the AEPD.
  • Assist teams with GDPR and Spanish DP Law requirements.
