About the vacancy:

The Refrigeration Engineer Specialist will be part of our Design & Engineering Department which is responsible for design and engineering of all NewCold projects worldwide. As Refrigeration is the key element within our projects, we have a dedicated team for Refrigeration Engineering.

What will you do?

• As engineer you are responsible for all the technical works related to the Refrigeration through the entire life cycle of a project including the use of the operational phase of the Warehouse
• Develop and deliver refrigeration concepts for our warehouse development
• Together with the project engineering prepare the tender packages for the specific suppliers
• Monitor the engineering process based on quality and Total Cost of Ownership
• Provide support to business development on budgeting and Refrigeration Solutions
• Cooperate with operations on continuous improvement of the Refrigeration Equipment

Who are we looking for?

• You have Master or Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or qualified equivalent experience in related field
• You have evidence of a strong background in refrigeration Engineering (Suppliers, Engineering firms)
• You have minimum 4 years experience in Industrial Refrigeration
• You are willing to travel on a fairly regular basis
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic work environment
• You are highly proficient in English, any other European language is a plus
• This position requires knowledge and ability to design a complete refrigeration system, including load calculations and equipment selection
