Unilabs is seeking a leader to shape Radiology Operations Strategy & Governance across its European network. The role focuses on optimizing performance, standardizing practices, and driving transformational projects that enhance service quality and cost efficiency.

You will partner with country leadership, procurement, and clinical teams to deploy asset lifecycle management, capital investments, and global best practices while navigating a multinational matrix organization.

Formación

  • Degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience in radiology operations, healthcare services, or equipment/technology hospital environments.
  • Strong track record in operational leadership and strategic project delivery.
  • Experience in multinational, matrix organizations.

Responsabilidades

  • Support Radiology Operations Excellence roadmap aligned with priorities across countries.
  • Establish standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the radiology network.
  • Drive consistency in operational models, workflows, and performance management.
  • Coordinate and lead Transformational Projects in Radiology.
  • Oversee fleet planning and lifecycle management.
  • Plan radiology equipment fleet long-term aligned with growth and financial objectives.
  • Develop equipment lifecycle strategies with procurement and local teams.
  • Oversee capital investments prioritization for renewals and greenfield projects.
  • Drive operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with Countries on KPIs and monitor performance for opportunities to optimize.
  • Lead cross-country initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
  • Stakeholder management between global and local teams to implement best practices.
  • Translate technical developments into operational and financial implications.
  • Provide guidance on managing operational risks and incidents.

Support Radiology Operations Excellence across the network by governance, and performance improvement initiatives. The role focuses on optimizing operational performance, standardizing practices, driving transformational projects and enabling high-quality, cost-efficient radiology services aligned with clinical and business objectives. Act as a key partner to country leadership, country PMs, procurement, and clinical teams to ensure effective planning, deployment, and lifecycle management of radiology assets and services. While a previous understanding of radiology technologies is required, the position is primarily focused on strategic operational performance and cross-functional coordination.

Radiology Operations Strategy & Governance
  • Support to implement a comprehensive Radiology Operations Excellence roadmap aligned with business, countries and clinical priorities
  • Establish standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the radiology network
  • Drive consistency in operational models, workflows, and performance management
  • Able to coordinate and lead Transformational Projects in Radiology
  • Fleet Planning & Lifecycle Management involvement
  • Long-term planning of the radiology equipment fleet, ensuring alignment with network growth, demand, and financial objectives
  • Equipment lifecycle strategies (replacement, upgrade, or optimization) in collaboration with procurement and local teams
  • Oversee prioritization and decision‑making for capital investments (renewals and greenfield projects), ensuring value-driven outcomes
  • Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive and define global and support performance improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost efficiency, digitalization and service quality
  • Work with Countries on KPIs and monitor performance across countries, identifying opportunities for optimization
  • Lead cross-country initiatives to improve operational efficiency and patient experience
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a key interface between global and local teams
  • Influence and support country teams in implementing best practices and managing operational challenges
  • Lead or participate in cross‑functional projects in a matrix environment
  • Technology & Innovation Enablement
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of radiology technologies and market trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Support evaluation and integration of new technologies and vendor solutions from a business impact perspective
  • Translate technical developments into operational and financial implications
  • Risk Management & Operational Support
  • Provide guidance to countries on managing operational risks and equipment‑related incidents
  • Ensure appropriate policies and frameworks are in place for maintenance, service quality, and compliance
Requirements
  • Degree in Healthcare, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (Radiology or Medical Technology background is an advantage)
  • Proven experience in radiology operations, healthcare services, or equipment/technology hospital or radiology unit environments (provider or OEM)
  • Strong track record in operational leadership, performance improvement, and strategic project delivery
  • Experience working in complex, multinational, and matrix organizations

Solid understanding of radiology modalities and healthcare environments; deep technical specialization is not required but operational understanding is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
  • Good background in Project Management
