Syntegon Telstar S.R.U in Terrassa, Spain, seeks an experienced R2R Accountant to join the GBS organization and ensure accurate record-to-report processes, including month-end closures, reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS and internal controls.

You will maintain general ledger entries, perform reconciliations, support audits, and collaborate with a multicultural team across locations; English proficiency and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in R2R/GBS
• General ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations knowledge
• Experience with SAP systems
• Strong English written and spoken
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with BlackLine, Redwood, or similar tools is a plus

Job Description

We are looking 4 R2R Accountants to join us in our facilities in Terrassa (BCN), to provide accounting support within the GBS organization, ensuring accurate and timely execution of Record-to-Report activities. The role is responsible for maintaining accounting records, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintains and reviews general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Performs balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed asset accounts, with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Supports timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Identifies and resolves accounting discrepancies, escalating complex or unresolved issues to the Senior or Team Leader.
• Supports internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• Follows internal controls, company policies, and applicable IFRS requirements.
• Contributes to process improvements, standardization, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an R2R, GBS, BSSC, or international corporate environment.
• Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP systems.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with BlackLine, Redwood, or similar accounting tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, particularly during month-end closing.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge.
• Proactive and reliable team player.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Information

Availability to travel (approximately 10%) when required (HQ in Germany).
