Siemens Healthineers is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to join our Interventional Oncology development team in Spain. You will assist with testing, analysis, process development, equipment management, and lab operations for microsphere devices used in cancer treatment, contributing to FDA/ISO-compliant design history files.

The role requires a biology/chemistry/physics background, 2+ years lab experience in a regulated setting, and familiarity with microscopy, FTIR, HPLC, and QA testing.

Formación

• Associate or 4-year degree in biology, chemistry or physics.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience; medical device or regulated industry preferred.
• Knowledge of lab techniques such as microscopy, FTIR, HPLC and related microsphere analysis methods.
• Experience with laboratory equipment management and with laboratory software.
• Familiarity with FDA/ISO regulatory issues and quality systems.

Responsabilidades

• Apply basic scientific principles and lab procedures to test method execution.
• Operate lab instruments, observe, calculate, and record results.
• Characterize microsphere-based devices for properties.
• Perform QA testing to ensure conformance to specs.
• Plan and conduct R&D to define and develop implantable microsphere devices.
