Ficosa in Málaga, Spain, seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure industrial processes meet target quality levels through measurement, inspection and controls on materials, components and finished products.

You will analyze results, document actions and collaborate with other departments to identify and address quality problems, while upholding ethics, ISMS training and OHSE/Quality initiatives.

Formación

• Academic background: Basic qualifications.
• Languages: Basic English (written and spoken).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and check the raw materials, components, intermediate and finished products and compare results with specifications.
• Identify products and processes that can be improved through quality analysis.
• Cooperate with other departments to analyze quality problems.
• Maintain records and document quality actions, informing results and conclusions.
• Follow the Code of Ethics and ISMS training related to the job.
• Support in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

MISSION

Ensure that the industrial processes are on the target quality levels fixed by the company and its customers, carrying out measurement tasks, inspection and quality controls, using for that the specific instrument to each product or manufacturing process.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Analyze and check the raw materials, components, intermediate and finished products in a thorough way and compare the results with the provided specifications.


• Identify the products and processes those are susceptible to be improved through a quality analysis.


• Cooperate with other departments in the analysis of the quality problems.


• Carry out the register and documentation of the control quality actions achieved, informing of its results and conclusions.


• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.


• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:

Understanding of plans and measurement tolls, product knowledge, quality and environmental systems.

Knowledge in current legislation as IATF, automotive standards, basic VDA core tools, Customer Specific Standards and risk basic thinking.
