A leading consulting firm in Spain is seeking an experienced freelance consultant to guide a project for ISO 17034 certification, particularly in the cannabis sector. The role involves assessing quality management systems, developing certification roadmaps, and providing expert guidance throughout the process. The ideal candidate has proven experience in ISO 17034 and strong communication skills, and must be fluent in English.

Formación

• Proven experience in ISO 17034 implementation and accreditation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO / IEC 17025 and related quality standards.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or cannabis sectors preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance/project-based environment.

As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to excellence, we are currently looking for an experienced freelance consultant to support a project focused on achieving ISO 17034 certification . The consultant will provide expert guidance throughout the certification process, ensuring compliance with the standard for reference material producers, with a particular focus on the cannabis sector.

❗ This is a project-based, full-time freelance role with flexible engagement, requiring the consultant to be willing and able to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Guide a project through the ISO 17034 certification process.
• Assess quality management systems and identify gaps relative to ISO 17034 requirements.
• Develop and implement certification roadmaps, including documentation, procedures, and internal audits.
• Advise teams on best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of all certification milestones.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in ISO 17034 implementation and accreditation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO / IEC 17025 and other relevant quality standards.
• Experience in laboratory or production environments, preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical, or cannabis sectors.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance / project-based setting.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
