NEWTON Ingenieros is seeking a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join on-site industrial projects in the Tarragona area. The role focuses on quality control of mechanical works, inspection of welding, piping and boiler-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quality control of mechanical works on industrial construction projects.
• Inspect and supervise mechanical installations, welding, piping, boilerwork and metal structures.
• Interpret drawings, isometrics and P&IDs and generate clear technical reports.
• Identify and document non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with site teams.

Are you experienced in mechanical quality control and supervision within industrial projects?

We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to join industrial projects in the Tarragona area.

Essential requirements

• Previous experience in quality control of mechanical works within industrial construction projects.
• Located within a commutable distance of Tarragona, Catalonia.
  
• Availability to work on-site at industrial facilities and travel within the Tarragona area.
• Knowledge of quality and industrial safety regulations and standards applicable to mechanical assembly.
• Experience with welding, piping, boilerwork and metal structures.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and technical documentation.
• Experience performing measurements and dimensional checks.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software, including the preparation of clear and structured technical reports.
• Experience managing non-conformities and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with site teams.
