Job summary

Viralgen in San Sebastián, Spain, is seeking a QC Analyst to ensure physicochemical or molecular biology assays are performed accurately while maintaining GMP compliance and delivering high-quality gene therapies.

You will work in a collaborative team, support method development, maintain meticulous records, and contribute to internal and external audits. 1–2 years of QC experience and English at B1 level are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of quality control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements desirable.
• Familiarity with molecular biology or physicochemical QC methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform physicochemical or molecular biology assays for batch characterization and related testing.
• Perform assays to support development, qualification, and validation of analytical methods.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records ensuring data integrity.
• Report deviations or out-of-spec results to the QC Lead.
• Assist in drafting protocols, reports, and SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytical methodologies and documentation.
• Support audits and inventory management of reagents.
