Open Assessment Technologies is seeking a Manual QA Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and QA methodologies. The role focuses on hands-on testing, collaborating with developers and product stakeholders, and driving continuous QA improvements.

You will execute the full testing lifecycle, develop detailed test plans and test cases for web applications, and mentor junior testers to ensure consistent practices and high-quality releases.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in manual software testing and test execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot defects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain defects to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the full software testing lifecycle, ensuring high-quality product delivery.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web applications.
• Perform testing types including: Performance, Web, Accessibility, Exploratory, API, Security, Regression.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software issues.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Mentor and train junior QA team members to maintain testing best practices.
• Maintain test documentation and QA process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and QA best practices.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and a strong understanding of QA methodologies. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. This role will require hands-on testing experience, the ability to collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and a mindset for continuous improvement in QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the full software testing lifecycle, ensuring high-quality product delivery .
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web applications .
• Perform a variety of testing types, including:
• Performance Testing
• Web Testing
• Accessibility Testing
• Exploratory Testing
• API Testing
• Security Testing
• Regression Testing .
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and stakeholders) to identify and resolve software issues .
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .
• Mentor and train junior QA team members to ensure consistent testing practices and knowledge sharing .
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and QA process improvements .
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing .

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting .
• Strong expertise with Jira, Postman, Confluence, Selenium, Git .
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies such as:
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Regression Testing
• Performance Testing
• Security Testing
• Exploratory Testing .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies and errors .
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain defects and testing results to non-technical stakeholders .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Postman .
• Ability to lead and mentor junior testers and establish best QA practices .
