Almirall is seeking a QA Manager, Transport & GDP Compliance to own the Corporate Transportation Quality Program. You will provide governance and leadership to ensure GDP and GMP compliance across distribution and transportation of pharmaceutical products worldwide.

The role covers domestic Spanish transportation and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain and partners. Ideal candidates hold a Pharmacy degree or related discipline, with 5+ years in QA or distribution

Formación

• Degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in QA, distribution quality, supply chain quality, manufacturing and/or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of GDP and GMP requirements, transportation qualification/validation, logistics provider oversight, deviation and CAPA management, and audit readiness.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the corporate governance framework, quality standards, policies and priorities for transportation across affiliates and logistics partners.
• Oversee qualification, approval and ongoing quality oversight of logistics service providers, including audits and performance reviews.
• Ensure transportation routes and providers are qualified, validated and GDP/GMP compliant.
• Manage deviations, excursions, CAPAs and quality events with potential product impact.
• Act as quality lead for domestic transportation activities in Spain and ensure inspection readiness.
• Represent the company during health authority inspections and partner audits and manage remediation plans.

Provide functional leadership and ensure the consistent implementation of transportation quality requirements across territories. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, International Trade, Supply Chain, affiliates and logistics partners to manage transportation quality risks and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead the qualification, approval and ongoing quality oversight of logistics service providers, including audits, quality agreements, performance reviews and risk-based monitoring. Ensure transportation routes, systems and providers remain qualified, validated and compliant with GDP, GMP and company quality standards. Oversee the management of deviations, temperature excursions, CAPAs and quality events with potential product impact. Act as the quality lead for domestic transportation activities in Spain, ensuring compliance with GDP requirements, approved procedures and contractual commitments. Represent the company during health authority inspections and partner audits, ensuring inspection readiness and effective management of remediation plans. Define and monitor quality performance indicators, identify risks and drive continuous improvement across the transportation network.What We're Looking ForDegree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, distribution quality, supply chain quality, manufacturing and/or quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.Strong knowledge of GDP and applicable GMP requirements , transportation qualification and validation, logistics service provider oversight, deviation and CAPA management, and audit and inspection readiness.Proven ability to influence across functions and geographies, make risk-based decisions and engage senior stakeholders.Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems; TrackWise knowledge is a plus.Advanced English .Experience in the supply chain of biological products will be considered an asset.A unique opportunity to combine global quality leadership , GDP compliance expertise , and operational oversight within an international pharmaceutical environmentINFORMACIÓN ADICIONAL:- Tipo de contratación: indefinida- Centro de trabajo: SAB- Grupo profesional: 6- Turno Central flexibleMission: The QA MANAGER, TRANSPORT & GDP COMPLIANCE owns and leads the Corporate Transportation Quality Program within GCQA / Global Commercial Quality Assurance. The position is also accountable for the quality oversight and operational management of domestic transportation activities in Spain and the associated logistics service provider processes.
