Aderen seeks a QA Lead to define and drive the quality strategy for a backend-oriented, multi-squad project in Seville, Spain. You will coordinate QA across squads, ensuring consistent standards, risk visibility, and alignment with governance expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong QA leadership, backend testing expertise, and the ability to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle, including AI-assisted QA reviews where appropriate.

Formación

• 3–4 years of experience with at least one of the listed tools.
• Proven QA leadership within complex software delivery environments.
• Experience coordinating QA across multiple squads.
• Backend APIs, integrations, workflows, or data validation.
• Experience defining test approaches, quality gates, and release readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain the overall QA strategy and ways of working.
• Coordinate and support QA activities across squads with consistent execution and reporting.
• Oversee test coverage across API testing, integration testing, contract testing, regression, and risk-based validation.
• Ensure QA in authentication, authorization, roles and claims, tenant isolation, and service interactions.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Development, and DevOps to embed quality.
• Coordinate quality reporting, traceability, and release-readiness recommendations.
• Support IV&V activities with evidence preparation and defect follow-up.
• Promote traceability between requirements, tests, defects, and delivery.
• Review AI-assisted QA usage for alignment with standards.

We are looking for a QA Lead to define and drive the quality strategy across a complex backend-oriented, multi-squad technology project.

This person will coordinate QA activities across the programme, ensuring consistent standards, clear visibility of quality risks, and alignment between testing, delivery, and governance expectations.

This role requires a strong mix of QA leadership, delivery coordination, and backend-oriented testing understanding.

We need someone capable of establishing a robust and traceable QA operating model, supporting squads in quality-related decisions, and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.

(You will need to pass a QA Lead - Microservices, Integration & Workflow Orchestration security process)

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :

• Define and maintain the overall QA strategy, standards, and ways of working across the programme.
• Coordinate and support QA activities across squads, ensuring consistency in execution, evidence, reporting, and defect management.
• Oversee test coverage across API testing, integration testing, contract testing, regression, negative scenarios, business workflows, and risk-based validation.
• Ensure appropriate quality validation in areas such as authentication, authorisation, roles and claims, tenant isolation, and service interactions.
• Work closely with Product, Business Analysis, Architecture, Development, DevOps, and external stakeholders to embed quality throughout delivery.
• Coordinate quality reporting, traceability, audit readiness, and release-readiness recommendations.
• Support collaboration with IV&V (Independent Verification and Validation), including evidence preparation, defect clarification, and follow-up activities.
• Promote clear traceability between requirements, test coverage, defects, evidence, and delivery outcomes.
• Ensure any use of AI-assisted QA or test generation is reviewed and aligned with quality standards.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

• Experience working with tools such as Salesforce, Boomi, Oracle NetSuite, and Zuora Billing. At least 3-4 years of experience with one of these tools.
• Strong experience in QA leadership within complex software delivery environments.
• Previous experience coordinating QA activities across multiple squads or teams.
• Experience working in backend-oriented environments involving APIs, integrations, workflows, or data validation.
• Understanding of API-based validation approaches and integration-focused testing.
• Experience defining test approaches, quality gates, defect triage, reporting, and release-readiness processes.
• Ability to work confidently with technical stakeholders including developers, architects, and DevOps teams.
• Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.
• Professional level of English (spoken and written).

PARTICULARY VALUABLE :

• Experience in integration-heavy or distributed system environments.
• Experience working in regulated, security-conscious, or highly governed delivery contexts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD quality controls, structured evidence management, and traceability practices.
• Experience collaborating with external validation, audit, or compliance teams.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
