Job summary

A-SAFE is seeking a QA Tester to join our team in Málaga. You will blend manual testing with test automation to ensure quality and stability of our software products, working closely with developers and product teams to enable reliable releases.

You will execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests, develop automation scripts, and help integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating across cross-functional teams. Hybrid work and fast-paced delivery are part of our culture.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, covering both manual and automated testing.
• Genuine interest in working with AI and other innovative new software tools
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as K6 and monitoring solutions like Grafana.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and debug issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently within cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or similar tools to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, contributing to fast and reliable release cycles.
• Assist with performance and load testing using tools such as K6, with results monitored via Grafana.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA colleagues to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document test plans, test cases, and results clearly, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Identify, report, and validate bug fixes, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team, helping refine tools, processes, and best practices.
