Amaris Consulting in Barcelona is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join an international team in a hybrid Barcelona setting. You will plan project kickoff and follow-up activities, delivering robust automated tests and collaborating with Product Owners and developers to ensure quality across APIs, UI, and performance.

The role requires strong hands-on testing experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and a proactive mindset.

Formación

5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber.
Experience with performance testing using JMeter or Grafana k6.
Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Understanding of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Git and version control.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Professional level of English and Spanish (mandatory).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Barcelona.

Responsabilidades

Plan kickoff and follow-up on QA testing projects.
Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to improve user stories and acceptance criteria.
Create and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright and Cucumber.
Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
