A leading AI solutions provider in Madrid is seeking a Python Software Development Engineer to ensure the robustness and performance of backend systems. You will assist in creating back-end components, manage database schemas, and participate in code reviews. The ideal candidate has experience with Python and FastAPI or Django, a degree in Computer Science, and unit testing knowledge. As a Software Development Engineer, your mission is to ensure the robustness, scalability, and performance of backend systems. Ensuring smooth alignment and coordination with AI teammates to build state-of-the-art AI Solutions.

• Assist with the creation of back-end components.
• Design, implement, and manage database schemas. Optimize queries, manage indexes, and ensure data integrity and security.
• Participate in code review sessions.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.

This is for you if you have:

• Experience in Python and FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Solid experience with relational databases.
• Previous unit testing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub/GitLab.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
