Responsibilities

• Work closely with the team to lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of PV and BESS projects.
• Prepare and manage complex financial models for investment analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop accurate energy models of battery energy storage systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, energy and operations teams to implement optimized energy solutions in the models.
• Collaborate with the Structured Finance and M&A teams to implement optimized solutions in the financial models.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders, communicating key findings, recommendations, and insights effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in BESS technology and modelling techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Energy Systems, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 years’ experience in modelling with focus in the economical and financial valuation of projects in all the Development-to-Operation stages.
• Proficiency in Excel and Python.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of power systems and, renewable energy.
• Knowledge of project finance, is a plus.
