DC Fine Chemicals is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, negotiate terms with suppliers, and onboard new partners to ensure quality and continuity in an international setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing and a background in chemistry or related fields, with strong negotiation, communication, and regulatory awareness. The role offers hybrid working and growth within a global company.

Formación

  • Minimum 2 years in purchasing, procurement, or supplier management.
  • Experience in an international business environment is required.
  • Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing process and supplier communication.
  • Negotiate prices, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Onboard new suppliers to ensure competitiveness, quality, and continuity.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct evaluations.
  • Coordinate import and international logistics activities, including hazardous goods shipments.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and product data in internal systems.
  • Support inventory availability and supply chain planning.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

About DC Fine Chemicals At DC Fine Chemicals, we are a leading international supplier of fine chemicals, serving customers worldwide across the pharmaceutical, life sciences, research, and industrial sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. This position combines operational purchasing activities with supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the company's success in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, including purchase order creation, follow-up, and supplier communication.
  • Negotiating prices, lead times, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to ensure competitiveness, quality, and supply continuity.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and conducting periodic supplier evaluations.
  • Coordinating import and international logistics activities, including hazardous goods shipments.
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier and product information within internal systems.
  • Supporting inventory availability and supply chain planning activities.
  • Collaborating closely with Sales, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply optimization.
What We Are Looking For
Education

We welcome candidates with studies or academic backgrounds related to Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Chemistry or similar fields.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or supplier management. Experience working in an international business environment. Previous experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of international logistics and import/export operations.
  • Understanding of supplier quality and compliance processes.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Languages

Professional proficiency in English and Spanish. Additional languages will be considered a plus.

Other requirements

A valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle will be considered an advantage, as they facilitate access to our facilities.
