What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our Supply Chain team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the purchasing process, ensuring an efficient supply of materials and semi‑finished products in terms of cost, quality and delivery, while developing strong and reliable supplier relationships.
You will work closely with Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Finance to ensure that our supplier base is fully aligned with INDIBA’s requirements, especially within a highly regulated medical device environment.
What will you do?
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Manage and follow up on price negotiations with suppliers to ensure optimal purchasing conditions.
- Collaborate in the preparation of annual purchasing budgets.
- Manage the full purchasing process, from purchase order creation to delivery confirmation and receipt of goods.
- Launch and monitor purchase orders to ensure deliveries comply with agreed conditions (quantity, quality and lead time).
Supplier Development & Contracts
- Ensure a supplier base aligned with business needs, coordinating supplier qualification and homologation processes with Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams.
- Negotiate, prepare and manage supply contracts for materials and subcontracted assemblies.
- Maintain and develop a solid network of suppliers to guarantee continuity of supply under criteria of standardization and commonality.
- Conduct supplier scouting activities and support the evaluation and approval of new suppliers.
Cost, Stock & Supply Optimization
- Guarantee efficient supply of materials and semi‑finished goods at required stock levels, optimizing total cost.
- Promote and comply with the company’s purchasing policy, ensuring appropriate material rotation based on criticality and demand.
- Contribute to stock level optimization through proper definition of MOQ and delivery lead times.
- Communicate technical and quality requirements clearly to suppliers to ensure product conformity.
What you’ll bring?
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade or similar, preferably with postgraduate studies in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing departments, preferably within the electronics sector.
- Solid experience in purchasing processes and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Proactive, assertive and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational, planning and teamwork skills.
