Job summary

Cromology Spain is seeking an experienced Purchaser to lead direct and indirect procurement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role focuses on sourcing key materials, CAPEX, packaging, and service contracts, while driving cost savings, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance across the business.

Based in Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona) with a hybrid model offering up to 6 remote days per month and an emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, Production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7–10 years procurement experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
• Experience in coatings, chemicals, or process manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Knowledge of REACH, GHS, ISO standards; ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with CAPEX sourcing and service contract negotiations.

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a background in chemicals, coatings, or industrial manufacturing? @CromologySpain are looking for a Purchaser to lead both direct and indirect procurement activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for sourcing key raw materials, packaging, CAPEX, MRO, logistics, and service contracts while ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and supplier performance.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and strategic agreements


• Drive cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives


• Manage supplier risk, compliance, and performance

What we're looking for
