A leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager in Madrid to oversee the development and commissioning of electrical and utilities infrastructure for a new data centre. Responsibilities include leading projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing resources. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, experience with HV/MV systems, and be fluent in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of Spanish electricity regulations.
• Experience in planning and construction of electrical infrastructure.
• Data centre client experience would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead energy & utilities projects from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for infrastructure.

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the development, construction, and commissioning of electrical and utilities infrastructure for a new data centre in Madrid. This role will also support business development and strategy activities related to project development.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy & utilities projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, stakeholders, and utilities for HV / MV infrastructure.
• Supervise design and construction of substations and power lines, ensuring timely, budget-aligned delivery.
• Manage resources, budgets, schedules, and quality control.
• Negotiate contracts and bids with contractors, developers, and consultants.
• Evaluate site due diligence and resolve factors impacting project handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Industrial, Energy Engineering, or related.
• Advanced knowledge of HV / MV electrical systems and Spanish electricity regulations; experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction of HV / MV substations and underground power lines.
• Data centre client experience would be a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
