Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a skilled Program Manager to lead aerospace programs from initiation through closure. You will coordinate efforts across teams to meet schedule, cost and quality targets while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

The role requires a technical or managing degree and a minimum of 4 years in program leadership, with fluent Spanish and English. It is a permanent position based in Madrid area, offering challenging projects and global collaboration.

• Technical or/and Managing Degree for leading Aerospace Programs.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in aerospace program management.
• Team player with proactive approach.
• Language: Advanced Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate all program activities from initiation to closure.
• Ensure alignment with organizational guidelines and customer technical specifications.
• Oversee budget, cost control and financial margin protection.
• Create and maintain Integrated Project Baseline; monitor schedule, scope, WBS and resources.
• Provide program visibility to line management with KPIs and risk analysis.
• Coordinate across domains and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Job Description

• Responsible for leading and coordinating all the activities included in the programs under its scope from initiation, planning, execution, development monitoring and the closure as well.
• Ensures the content and the overall strategy of the programs under its scope are aligned with the main guidelines defined from the organization.
• Ensures the programs are defined and deployed in accordance to the customer’s technical specifications, being the responsible for contract fulfillment.
• Responsible for defining and overseeing budget associated to the programs and ensuring continuous costs deviation control and securing initial financial margin is not degraded.
• Secures the creation of the Integrated project baseline, as well as monitoring and control against this baseline (schedule, scope, WBS/WPs and resources, risk assessment etc.).
• Responsible for the correct organization of the team.
• Ensures program delivery on quality, on time and on cost, aiming at customer’s satisfaction.
• Provides program visibility in the program line management by reporting to the program line team leader on overall project’s progress (program’s critical KPIs, hot topics, strong and weak points, EAC).
• Ensures the coordination and visibility between programs and the different domains or support areas involved, guarantying the resolution or escalation of critical blocking points.
• Ensures customer’s communication all along program development supported by Program Line Team Leader and acts as the interface with programs and the different functional areas involved.
• The project manager is the final responsible of the contents of the deliverable documentation within the project

Candidate Profile Requested

• Technical or/and Managing Degree for leading Aerospace Programs.
• Experience: Minimum 4 Years.
