Plexus Tech in Barcelona is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead software development initiatives, including iOS/Android mobile apps and backend services. You will plan, coordinate and supervise projects from inception to delivery, ensuring quality, schedule and scope alignment.

The role requires strong technical vision, leadership, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across development, architecture, QA and infrastructure, with a hybrid Barcelona-based work arrangement.

We are looking for an IT Project Manager with experience in software development projects, especially in iOS and Android mobile application environments and backend services. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising technology projects from start to finish, ensuring digital products are delivered to the agreed quality, schedule and scope. We are looking for someone with technical vision, leadership skills and experience coordinating multidisciplinary development, architecture, QA and infrastructure teams.

Задачи:

• End-to-end project management: planning, tracking and controlling scope, timelines, budget, resources, milestones and deliverables.
• Team coordination: collaboration with iOS and Android developers, backend teams, architects, QA and infrastructure.
• Mobile development management: tracking the lifecycle of mobile applications, versions, testing, releases and publishing processes in the App Store and Google Play.
• Backend and integration coordination: tracking APIs, services, microservices, databases and integrations between systems.
• Work methodologies: managing sprints, roadmaps, backlogs and releases using Agile, Scrum or Kanban methodologies, as well as traditional approaches when necessary.
• Risk and dependency management: identifying and resolving blockers, tracking incidents and managing scope changes.
• Tracking and reporting: defining and monitoring KPIs, preparing progress reports and communicating project status to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management: coordinating with business and technology areas to ensure alignment of objectives and value delivery.

• Previous experience as an IT Project Manager, managing software development projects.
• Knowledge of the iOS and Android mobile application development lifecycle.
• Understanding of mobile technologies such as Swift, SwiftUI and Kotlin, as well as native, hybrid or cross-platform architectures.
• Knowledge of backend, REST APIs, microservices, databases and integration between systems.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, security, performance, scalability and availability concepts.
• Knowledge of development, testing, pre-production and production environments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and managing dependencies between different areas.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Communication, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work in Barcelona in a hybrid arrangement, 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
