A leading medical device company in Madrid is looking for an R&D PROJECT LEADER to manage the development of new delivery systems. Successful candidates will have a background in Industrial Engineering, fluency in English and Spanish, and experience with CAD tools like Solidworks and Rhinoceros. This is a permanent contract offering stability within a high-impact strategic project.

is a fast growing company founded in 2010 in Barcelona (Spain) with the aim of developing medical devices and therapies for the treatment of disorders of the vascular system and to become a reference in the vascular field by enhancing the value of technology and innovation.

We are currently looking for an

R&D PROJECT LEADER

for our plant located in

Sant Vicenç dels Horts

(Barcelona).

Your main objective will be to lead the development of a delivery system for a medical device, from 2D / 3D prototype design to the management of prototype manufacturing, coordination of bench testing, analysis of results and report writing, leading the device verification phase, and preparing the necessary documentation for submission to regulatory authorities.

Prepare the technical planning for assigned projects, applying the methodology implemented in the company.

In collaboration with the department head, prepare project budgets and define the technical and human resources to achieve the technical and economic objectives.

Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of the solutions proposed.

Research and develop improvements in the technical characteristics, quality, and costs of products.

Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers from the initial stage until the product is transferred to the factory, sending guidelines for subsequent procurement.

Industrial Engineering, especially in the mechanical, electromechanical, materials, biomedical fields or a similar one.

High level of English and Spanish.

Previous experience working with CAD systems (especially Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys.
