K-LAGAN busca un Ingeniero/a Eléctrico/a PMC para el alcance de electrificación de edificios dentro de un ambicioso proyecto siderúrgico. Coordinará sistemas LV/MV, revisión de esquemas y entrega de ingeniería frente a EPC/EPCM, OEMs y equipos internos.

Se valorará experiencia en entornos industriales, conocimiento de normas IEC/IEEE y capacidad de supervision técnica y de seguridad durante la instalación, pruebas y energización. Ubicación: Bilbao; contratación permanente.

Formación

• Experiencia en proyectos industriales (acero, metales o minería) y en electrificación de edificios y facilidades auxiliares.
• Conocimiento sólido de sistemas MV/LV, relés de protección, transformadores, motores, VFDs, UPS y puesta a tierra.
• Capacidad para interpretar planos, normas y documentación de fabricantes.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar la supervisión eléctrica para distribución, subestaciones, tableros, UPS/generadores, iluminación y edificios auxiliares.
• Foco en el alcance de electrificación de edificios dentro del sitio industrial.
• Revisar y aprobar documentos de diseño, diagramas unifilares, listas de carga y esquemas.
• Coordinar con EPC/EPCM, OEMs y equipos internos para entregas de ingeniería.
• Gestionar modelado 3D de sistemas eléctricos y coordinación entre disciplinas.
• Monitorear avances de ingeniería, adquisiciones, FATs/SATs y construcción.
• Apoyar compras evaluando ofertas técnicas y participando en negociaciones.
• Supervisar sitio durante instalación, pruebas, puesta en marcha y energización.
• Garantizar cumplimiento HSE y procedimientos de bloqueo/etiquetado.
• Participar en evaluaciones de riesgos, revisiones de constructibilidad y gestión de interfaces.

Role We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (PMC) – Building Electrification scope within a steelmaking project. The role focuses on project management, technical assurance, and coordination of electrical systems related to buildings and auxiliary facilities within a large-scale industrial plant. The successful candidate will work closely with EPC/EPCM partners, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• - Lead electrical engineering oversight for LV/MV power distribution, substations, switchboards, backup power systems (UPS/generators), lighting, and electrical systems related to buildings and auxiliary facilities within the plant.
• - Focus on building electrification scope, including offices, auxiliary buildings, and non-process facilities within the industrial site.
• - Review and approve design documents, single‐line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, protection philosophies, and vendor data.
• - Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE), project specifications, and steel‐industry requirements.
• - Coordinate with EPC/EPCM contractors on engineering deliverables, design changes, and technical clarifications.
• - Lead and manage 3D model coordination across all electrical systems, ensuring alignment between OEM models, EPC/EPCM engineering teams, and civil/mechanical/automation disciplines.
• - Monitor progress of electrical engineering, procurement, FATs, SATs, and construction activities.
• - Support procurement by reviewing technical bids, evaluating vendor proposals, and participating in technical negotiations.
• - Provide site supervision during installation, testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical equipment.
• - Ensure strict adherence to HSE requirements, electrical safety rules, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• - Participate in risk assessments, constructability reviews, and interface management with mechanical, civil, and automation teams.
• - Prepare progress reports, and technical recommendations for project leadership.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• - Experience in industrial projects (steelmaking, metals, mining, or similar), with exposure to building electrification or non-process facilities.
• - Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, protection relays, transformers, motors, VFDs, UPS, earthing, and power quality.
• - Experience working in PMC, EPC, or EPCM environments.
• - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and vendor documentation.
• - Strong communication and stakeholder‐coordination skills.
• - Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.

Preferred Experience

• - Experience in building electrical systems within industrial environments (offices, workshops, auxiliary buildings).
• - Previous involvement in steelmaking, melt shop, rolling mill, or industrial furnace projects.
• - Experience with SCADA/DCS interfaces, industrial automation, and instrumentation.
• - Knowledge of EMC/EMF regulations, and European electrical standards
• - Multidisciplinary coordination in international project environments.
