We are expanding our portfolio to include cutting-edge data centre development projects and are therefore seeking experienced data centre professionals.

Goodman is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Madrid to join our expanding Data Centre project team. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of the construction process, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage high-level planning, coordination, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. This role involves mitigating risks, monitoring progress, and making critical decisions to resolve issues that arise during the build. The Project Manager also liaises with clients and ensures alignment with the overarching business objectives, maintaining a focus on operational readiness and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership : Provide leadership and strategic direction for data center projects. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from tendering to commissioning, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Client Management : Engage in negotiations, drive technical discussions, and coordinate with subject matter experts to secure lease signatures. Maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle and communicate updates transparently.
• Project Planning and Execution : Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, resources, and timelines. Implement project controls and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Contractual Oversight : Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, manage claims and disputes within FIDIC or similar contractual frameworks, and oversee change order management.
• Market Experience and Team Building : Demonstrate experience in the French market, successfully delivering projects as a client or general contractor. Lead the assembly and integration of project teams.

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills.
• Experience in the French market with successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
