We are seeking a Project Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of automated material handling solutions for industrial clients.
This role combines project management, technical engineering, and customer coordination , ensuring the successful realization of projects from the RFQ (Request for Quotation) phase through to commissioning, always meeting budget, quality, and timing targets.
Lead the technical design and development of customized automated material handling systems. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources , ensuring adherence to technical and financial targets. Coordinate and review RFQ (Request for Quotation) documentation, preparing detailed cost estimations and feasibility analyses. Translate customer requirements into functional system designs and technical specifications. Collaborate with internal engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure alignment across all project stages. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with project objectives. Serve as a technical interface with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution. Identify potential risks and propose corrective or preventive actions during the project lifecycle.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) . Experience in managing or supporting engineering projects, ideally in automation, intralogistics, or material handling systems . Solid knowledge of RFQ processes , cost estimation, and project budgeting. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems design , including integration of automated equipment. Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Availability to work on-site in Madrid and occasionally travel internationally.
Experience in automated storage systems, conveyors, robotics, or warehouse logistics . Familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, or similar engineering tools . Experience managing international projects with multiple stakeholders.
The expected salary range for this position is €35,000–€41,000 gross per annum. However, the final offer will be aligned with the candidate's level of experience, technical capabilities, skills, and the value they can bring to the project.
