Job summary

Green Hat Consulting is a La Coruña-based energy sector consultancy seeking a professional to advance our advisory services in procurement, contract negotiation, and asset management for large-scale renewable projects. The role targets experienced candidates with international project exposure and strong English and German communication skills.

The successful candidate will contribute to procurement workflows, lead complex tenders, and support asset/claims management across offshore and onshore

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement processes for large-scale international renewable projects (solar PV, BESS, wind).
• Lead tendering and contract negotiations for TSA/SMA packages and related agreements (BIMCOs, harbour leases).
• Manage tendering and contract negotiations for Balance of Plant packages.
• Oversee asset and claim management for large offshore projects.

Green Hat Consulting(https://greenhatconsulting.net/) is a consultancy firm within the energy sector based on La Coruña (Spain) which focuses into the following areas:

a.Procurement related activities on behalf of project developers

b.Sales and project management activities on behalf of offshore wind contractors

c.Asset management services on behalf of offshore wind contractors

This position aims to further develop Green Hat´s capabilities on the consultancy related services.

Assignments will include:

1.Procurement related process for large scale international renewable projects (solar PV, BESS and/or wind projects)

2.Tendering and Contract negotiations for TSA and/or SMA package for renewable projects as well as other ad-hoc agreements (e.g. BIMCOs, harbour leases, etc)

3.Tendering and Contract negotiations for Balance of Plant package for renewable projects

4.Asset management and claim management for large escale offshore projects

What we are looking for?

• Minimum 3 years of experience within renewables
• Excellent communication skills in English and german is a must given that the assignments will be for international projects (english and/or german speaking)
• Proven experience in purchasing process related to large scale infrastructure projects is a plus
• Proven experience of the FIDIC and BIMCO based contract agreements is a plus
• Proven experience in commercial project management, sales and/or procurement roles related to large scale infrastructure projects is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree on Engineering
• Based on La Coruña area or willingness to relocate to La Coruña
• Professional use of the microsoft office package (specially powerpoint, word and excel)
• Ability to learn and incorporate AI tools into work pattern
• English: C1 Advanced level or similar
• Availability to travel depending on company's requirements
• Good communicator with positive attitude and willingness to make a difference whilst having fun
