Escola Innova Salou SL in Cambrils (Tarragona) seeks a passionate English Teacher for our after-school programs. You will deliver engaging English classes to children and youths, design dynamic activities, and create a positive, motivating learning environment.

The ideal candidate has an Education or Languages background, strong English skills, and creative energy. Part-time role (9h/week) with Tue/Thu 12:30–15:00 and Mon–Thu 16:30–17:30; a driver’s license is a bonus.

Formación

• Experience: 1 year in education or work with children/youth.
• English: advanced level (spoken and written).
• Degree related to Education or Languages preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Impart English classes to children and/or youths, fostering active and motivating learning.
• Design and run dynamic, creative activities suited to level and age.
• Create a positive, stimulating environment that encourages participation and use of English.
• Establish a personal connection with students, showing empathy and addressing individual needs.
• Develop communicative skills through games, songs, projects and other interactive activities.
• Monitor student progress and adapt activities to support development.
• Maintain smooth communication with the team and, if needed, with families, to ensure learning quality.

Tareas

• Impartir clases extraescolares de inglés a niños y/o jóvenes, fomentando un aprendizaje activo y motivador.
• Diseñar y llevar a cabo actividades dinámicas, creativas y adaptadas al nivel y la edad del alumnado.
• Crear un ambiente positivo y estimulante que fomente la participación y la confianza en el uso del inglés.
• Establecer una conexión personal con el alumnado, mostrando empatía y atendiendo a sus emociones y necesidades individuales.
• Potenciar las habilidades comunicativas mediante juegos, canciones, proyectos y otros recursos interactivos.
• Hacer un seguimiento del progreso del alumnado y adaptar las actividades para favorecer su desarrollo.
• Mantener una comunicación fluida con el equipo y, si es necesario, con las familias, para garantizar la coherencia y la calidad del aprendizaje.

Requisitos

Experiencia: 1 año. Se valorará positivamente la experiencia previa en el sector de la educación o en ámbitos similares relacionados con el trabajo con niños y jóvenes.

Inglés: nivel superior (oral y escrito).

• Dominio de la lengua inglesa, tanto oral como escrita.
• Creatividad y capacidad para diseñar actividades dinámicas y motivadoras.
• Empatía y sensibilidad para comprender y gestionar las emociones del alumnado.
• Habilidades comunicativas claras y efectivas con alumnos, familias y equipo.
• Capacidad de adaptación a diferentes edades, niveles y necesidades educativas.
• Paciencia y actitud positiva ante los retos del aula.
• Organización y planificación de contenidos y materiales.
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y colaborar con otros profesionales.
