Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a Senior Production Quality Leader to head the Production Quality Department. You will guide a 25-person team spanning QA, inspection and conformity, setting clear goals aligned with strategic aims and serving on the plant management committee.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage the €3.5M budget, and coordinate with Space Systems facilities in the UK, France and Germany to ensure quality across projects.

Competenze

• University degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Previous experience within a Quality department or working in close collaboration with Quality teams.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and change management skills.
• Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
• Minimum 2 years of prior experience in team management.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Mansioni

• Lead the Production Quality Department at the Space Systems plant in Getafe.
• Motivate and develop a team of approx. 25 people across Quality Assurance, Quality Inspection and Quality Conformity.
• Set clear objectives aligned with corporate goals and participate in the plant management committee.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives with Quality as a key stakeholder.
• Be the primary focal point for Production Quality across other business areas and stakeholders.
• Manage an annual budget of €3.5M and prepare S&OP and the Production Quality budget.
• Draft executive summaries and KPIs and harmonize practices across Space Systems plants.
• Deliver to internal and external customers including Airbus Spacecraft facilities in the UK, France, Germany, Avio, Mitsubishi, SpaceX, ArianeGroup.
