Job summary

ALTA Vision in Zaragoza is seeking a hands-on Floor Manager to lead the manufacturing floor, from assembly to testing and shipment. You will translate the production schedule into daily and weekly priorities and coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Service to ensure machines are ready on time and to spec.

You will directly supervise technicians, monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain a safe, efficient shop floor, ensuring quality inspections are completed

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment or similar technical environment.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, BOMs and electrical schematics.
• Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage several machines/projects and priorities simultaneously.
• A practical, proactive and hands-on approach.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or production planning systems is a plus.
• Spanish and English communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize the work of manufacturing technicians.
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient manufacturing floor.
• Take ownership of machine readiness through final shipment.

ALTA Vision is looking for a hands-on Floor Manager to join its manufacturing facility in Zaragoza.

This is a key operational role for someone who enjoys being close to the shop floor, the machines and the teams, and taking ownership of production from assembly through testing and final shipment.

Your role

You will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing floor and ensure machines are built, tested and ready for shipment on time and according to our quality and engineering standards.

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality and Service, you will:
