Mecalux in Cornellà de Llobregat, part of a global leader in intralogistics, is seeking a System Engineer/Product Owner to drive advanced automated system projects in the Robotics Department. You will own system design and lead-NPD activities across hardware and software, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead challenging and innovative projects related to automated system solutions (AMR, conveyors, robotics, storage systems).
• Own as lead engineer the development of new products (NPD) including system design, component selection, testing and data analysis.
• Execute V-model activities: system requirements definition, design, verification and validation.
• Define FMEA and derive reliability requirements from the analysis.
• Define verification and validation strategy using simulators, emulators and physical testing.

Currently, in the Robotics Department, we are looking for aSystem Engineer/Product Ownerat our Technology Center inCornellà de Llobregat.

What will your main responsibilities be?

• Lead challenging and innovative projects associated with automated system solutions such as AMR, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Systems and Storage Systems.
• Take the ownership as lead engineer of new product development (NPD), including system design, components selection, testing and data analysis. Work with team members to manage the project plan.
• Execute V-model activities such as system requirements definition, system design, system verification and validation. Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and serviceability are covered.
• Define Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and derive reliability requirements fromthis analysis.
• Define strategy for verification and validation including use of simulators, emulators, andphysical testing.

What are the minimum requirements?

• University Degree in industrial engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline.
• At least 7-10 years of professional engineering experience, preferably in automation, machine building, automotive or aerospace industries. Full cycle V-model systems engineering experience in systems involving mix of hardware and software.
• Experience with reliability engineering techniques such as FMEA and reliability growth testing. Strong analytical and conceptual skills and high goal-oriented approach.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English.
